Get ready for a historic race meeting on the Grand Singapore Gold Cup day. On 5 October, we celebrate the Club’s 182-year legacy with a day of thrilling races. The special event will feature 10 showcase races that honour significant moments from the Club's storied history, culminating in the Grand Singapore Gold Cup. It promises to be a momentous occasion and a grand tribute to over a century of horse racing excellence.

Expect a day of elevated programming with races honouring our nation’s 182 years of racing heritage, from 1842 to the present. To commemorate this grand event, the Club has invited special guests as prize presenters for each showcase race, chosen for their deep connection to the history and tradition of the sport and with the Club.

Mark your calendars for 5 October as we gather to honour a unique chapter of Singapore’s heritage and celebrate the rich tapestry of horse racing with the Grand Singapore Gold Cup.
In addition to the races, there will be a photo exhibition showcasing the winning entries of STC’s “Capturing Our Beauty” photo competition and a similar competition held among STC employees named, “Capturing our Beauty: Employee Edition”. A specially curated Heritage Walk will take guests on a journey through the rich history of the Grand Singapore Gold Cup, with bilingual information panels (English and Chinese) celebrating its key milestones and achievements, alongside other historically significant feature races – Kranji Mile, Singapore Derby, and Queen Elizabeth II Cup.

As a token of appreciation to our patrons, free admission tickets to Grandstand Level 1 are available for on-site collection on a first-come, first-served basis, while tickets last.
