Competition Grounds:
The competition grounds and stable areas must be always kept clean and tidy. No littering of the STCRC grounds will be accepted.
Washing down of horses must be done in the wash bay areas only. All droppings must be removed from the wash bays. Droppings/waste must be removed from the stable daily and disposed of in a proper manner. At the end of the Competition, all stables must be cleared of all horse droppings. A $50 fine will be imposed for unclean stables.
Competition Areas:
There will be designated areas to work your horses in the Outdoor Arena and Covered Arena over the competition weekend. Any competitor found riding outside these areas may be disqualified.
Riders warming up should pass left hand to left hand. In general, the faster pace has priority and slower horses should give way. Lateral work has overall priority.
All instructions from Stewards and Officials are to be followed without dispute or delay, otherwise the competitor is liable for disqualification or elimination.
Horse Passports:
The original passports must be submitted to the STCRC reception counter upon entering the premises.
Vaccination Certificate:
All horses and ponies intended for participation in this Competition should possess a Health Certificate that certifies them free from Nipah Virus. They are required to be immunised against (a) Equine Influenza (E) and (b) Japanese B Encephalitis (Jap B).
Refer to FEI Veterinary Rules (Ed.2018) Art. 2003: The FEI requirement for influenza vaccination with an initial Primary Course of two vaccinations must be given; the second vaccination must be administered within 21-92 days of the first vaccination. The first booster must be administered at a maximum of six months intervals however horses competing in events must have a received a booster within six months + 21 days (not within seven days) before arrival at the event. Horse may compete seven days after receiving the second vaccination of the primary course. Horses that have already been immunised must show documentary proof that the vaccinations have been performed by an Official Veterinary Surgeon or Government Veterinary Surgeon. These records must be entered in the horse passport/registration cards. Horses and ponies attempting to enter without up-to-date vaccinations records will be denied entry to STCRC.
Insurance:
All Owners and Competitors are personally responsible for damages to third persons caused by themselves, their employees, their agents and their horses. All Competitors are therefore strongly advised to take out a third-party insurance providing full coverage for participation in equestrian events at home and abroad, and keep their policy up-to-date.
