In the lead-up to our homestretch, Singapore Turf Club (STC) launched a photo competition on 4 April 2024, inviting the community to capture the Club’s rich heritage and preserve our beauty and legacy through their lenses. Submissions closed on 30 August 2024, with over 200 entries from local photography enthusiasts, many of whom participated in our photo walks, which showcased the Kranji Racecourse from diverse and vibrant perspectives.
The 15 winning entries were selected by our esteemed judging panel, comprising photographers Aik Soon and Yik Keat who are our photo walk hosts, alongside STC representatives, against the criteria of storytelling, composition, creativity and relevance. These photographs beautifully explored three distinct themes — architecture, flora and fauna, and racing experience – each offering a unique perspective on the Club as an iconic landmark.

A physical photo exhibition featuring the winning entries from the Capturing Our Beauty Photo Competition will be on display at the Club on 5 October 2024, during the Grand Singapore Gold Cup race meeting.
