SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL RACING FESTIVAL 2014

The Singapore International Racing Festival (SIRF) will be held from 26 April to 18 May this year. The public can look forward to a series of fun-filled equine roadshows and activities at shopping malls over two weekends, before culminating in the two international races on 18 May 2014.

The long-awaited 13 Turf Belles who were carefully selected from a talent search will make their first public appearance at Bugis+ on the afternoon of 26 April 2014. Donned in jockey silks of the past 13 Singapore Airlines International Cup (SIA Cup) winners, the Turf Belles will join staff from the Singapore Turf Club in the “Caps for Charity” event to sell specially-designed SIA Cup caps for a good cause. All proceeds will be donated to the Club’s adopted charity – Thye Hua Kwan EIPIC Centre @ Woodlands, to boost the charity’s Resource Library as part of their Equipment and Materials Loan Program.

This Program will benefit the children of Thye Hua Kwan EIPIC Centre @ Woodlands in helping their caregivers to better understand their development and progress with the variety of materials from the resource library. Equipment from the library will also be available for loan, to help families assess its suitability for their child’s use before committing a hefty budget for the purchase.

The public may support the event or their favourite Turf Belle by purchasing the SIA Cup caps for this meaningful cause!
